Many EA stalls down in Alabama; made it only via buffer
“Two separate Electrify America sites in Alabama (Montgomery and Auburn) had two 350s and a 150 down. At Auburn the one working 150 crashed twice mid-session. Pensacola only has the one fast charger site in town, and when I left both 350s were out. I made it, but only because I started each leg with plenty of buffer.”

Speed sagged from 126 to ~30 kW; Waco 150s all down
“At the Round Rock EA I started at 126 kW and it sagged to about 30, so I only added enough to reach Waco. Every 150 at the Waco site was down.”

Every stop had a 100+ kW unit on a 1,500-mile trip
“Every stop had at least one unit giving 100 kW or more and about half hit 200+. I still kept a ~20% buffer in case a site was dead, and that's what I'd stress.”

EA stall wouldn't initialize; a different stall worked fine
“Had something similar on my first-ever public charge in my Polestar 2, an EA stall in Ohio that kept failing to initialize with no error shown. The guy at the next stall got his going in seconds, but I just gave up and moved to a different one and it was fine.”

EA site had 2 of 6 stalls working; reached next at 14%
“An EA site only had 2 of 6 stalls working, both taken, with a car already waiting. I didn't wait and kept going to Los Banos, but I got there with 14% left, which was more nerve-wracking than I'd like.”

Dead and slow EA stalls; waited 30+ min at two sites
“The EA site at Village Commons near Tallahassee had 3 of 4 dispensers out of service. At the Gainesville Target one was down and another was stuck around 36 kW until someone left and I could switch. I ended up waiting 30+ minutes at two different sites just for a working stall.”

3 of 4 stalls down; used a $0.45/kWh RaceTrac instead
“Same story at the Oxford, AL EA Walmart for me, 3 of 4 stalls down. The one working stall was already taken by a Mach-E that was going to be there an hour, and the stalls are angled at the start of a stop-and-go lane, so I had to back in with my passenger holding up traffic. I ended up at the RaceTrac nearby at $0.45/kWh.”
