What people actually reported
Gets a free workplace spot only about weekly; stopped relying on it
“It was free and easy to get a spot when I got my car four years ago, but now I maybe get one about once a week, so I've stopped relying on it.”

Manager OK'd outlet, but asked to cut back after a week
“My manager said sure to the outlet, and about a week in, after I'd charged every other day, I was asked to cut way back. It's an eGolf, so I doubt I was adding more than a few dollars a day to the bill.”

Hourly rate plus loitering fee means watching when charging ends
“Ours is a flat hourly rate too, plus a loitering fee if the car stays after it stops charging. Since I only plug in a couple times a week it's not a big deal, but the loitering fee means I have to keep an eye on when it finishes instead of just leaving it.”

Dashboard shows ~8-hour sessions with about half idle
“Our new stations have a dashboard, and the average session is about 8 hours with roughly half of that idle.”

Informal work charging ended once more EV drivers joined
“I used to charge at work under an informal agreement, and it ended once more EV drivers started doing the same.”
