Many non-Tesla owners on road trips described sessions that fail, drop after a few minutes, or only stick on the second or third try. Reports came from EA, ChargePoint, EVgo and Blink stalls, and the errors were often vague. Several found that a neighboring stall or a different network worked, and Bolt owners often saw "Unable to Charge" or a stall stuck on "initiating."
Others never got as far as plugging in successfully: apps looped back to wallet setup, hung on authenticating, or showed "Charging is delayed" after payment. A separate group saw "Charging unsuccessful" at home and everywhere else. Several Hyundai and Genesis owners had dealers trace it to a failed ICCU, so when nothing works anywhere, the car is the likelier culprit.
The reported problems are sessions that dropped mid-charge, failed before connecting, or wouldn't release the cable, across EA, ChargePoint, EVgo, and other networks.
The reported problems are timeouts and 'unable to charge' errors at adapter, Magic Dock, and ChargePoint/Blink stations; two contributors noted a Supercharger worked.
One contributor reported the Toyota app looping back to 'Setup Wallet' after adding a card, so the first Supercharger session never reached Start Charging.
