I've had my EV for about two months now and I've just been using the regular 120V outlet in my garage overnight, which keeps up fine with my daily mileage. Everyone keeps telling me I need a real Level 2 charger, but I'm trying to figure out if that's actually necessary for someone with a short commute or if it's more of a 'nice to have' people talk themselves into. It's not cheap once you factor in the electrician. Anyone here in a similar low-mileage situation who decided it wasn't worth it, or regretted not doing it sooner?
