Three weeks into retirement now and this car showed up on the driveway Monday, so more research than actual driving so far if I'm honest — wife says I've read the owner's manual twice already, which is more or less true. I'm not someone who buys a big-ticket item and just wings the first month, especially not now that the pension checks are the whole budget instead of half of it. Dealer walked me through the pedals and the parking sensors and not much else, no real orientation on the electric side of things. Before I go poking at settings I don't understand, I'd rather ask first — what actually needs to get done in the first week versus what can wait a while? I don't want to break anything, and I really don't want to find out three months in that there was something I should have set up on day one that would've saved me money or a headache.
