What do I need to charge at a campground with RV hookups?
50A pedestal is a 14-50, same receptacle a lot of portable EVSEs plug into. 30A is a TT-30, 120V only, so adapter or not you're at Level 1 speeds. Pedestal outlets are usually pretty beat up though.
Same question here. The RV sites I've been to were mostly 30A only, so TT-30 is the case I'd actually run into. I keep a 120V charger in the trunk. Is it worth buying a mobile charger made for the 30A hookup, or does that just end up as 120V speeds anyway?
