I help run a Bolt owner meetup here in the Madison area, and it's a pretty even split between people still on 2020-2022 Bolt EUVs and folks who held onto the older 2017-2019 Bolt EV hatchbacks. Every few weeks somebody posts a link to a new "CCS1 to NACS DC fast charging adapter" listing and asks if it'll work on their car, and every time the thread just turns into people guessing.
Nobody in the group has been able to point to a clear answer on which model years actually support DC fast charging through one of these adapters at a Supercharger versus which ones will plug in fine but never actually start a session. Before we keep telling people in the group to just buy one and hope, does anyone here have an EUV or an older Bolt where you've actually pulled off a real DC fast session at a Supercharger using CCS1 to NACS? What worked, what didn't, and does the model year actually matter the way we suspect it does?
