Been driving my Ioniq 5 for a year and a half now, mostly around the Bangor area but I do the Route 1 coastal run and the occasional trip out to Presque Isle for work. Got the NACS adapter through Hyundai last year once Superchargers opened up to non-Tesla NACS vehicles, and for the first few months it was hit or miss enough that I mostly just stuck to Electrify America and the EVgo down the street from my office.
Lately I've been reading through r/electricvehicles and it's all over the place — some Ioniq 5 people are saying the adapter handshakes clean every time at V3 and V4 stalls now, others are still getting mid-session errors where it just drops the connection and you have to unplug and start over. I'm trying to figure out if this actually got better with some firmware update I missed, or if it's still a coin flip depending on which Supercharger site you land at. What's everyone's actual experience been the last month or so, and does it matter which adapter maker you're running, Hyundai's own one versus whatever aftermarket ones are out there now?
