Has anyone had a software update wipe their charge schedule without warning?
What car though? Ford pushed an update to my Mach-E that wiped my charge schedule and it just started charging the second I plugged in. Didn't notice for like a week until I looked at the utility app
Skipping it is where I've landed on the other Bolt update, the Tesla charging software. The letter calls it a complimentary upgrade, but the dealer quoted me about $495 because the car is out of bumper-to-bumper. I couldn't find a purchase button in the app either, so I'll probably just buy an adapter instead.
Mine's an Ioniq 5 and the preconditioning update was the one thing that went wrong on it too, so I'm a bit wary of how it behaves. Same as you, I've never found a manual trigger. It only kicks in when I route to a charger.
