Signed a 4-year novated lease on my Model Y back in March. The running cost budget my provider set is based on an assumed 18kWh/100km, which I only really looked at closely last week once I started actually logging my own charging properly. My own number, mostly home charging plus the odd public top-up, is coming out closer to 14kWh/100km. That's a decent gap to be carrying over a year.
Does anyone know if this actually gets trued up at some point — like an annual reconciliation against real usage — or is the running cost component basically a flat number I keep paying into every cycle regardless of what I actually use? I emailed my provider about it and got a pretty generic reply that didn't really address my specific numbers, so figured I'd ask people who've actually been through a full year or two of one of these leases rather than guess.
