Just moved and the garage only has a regular wall outlet

No 240V. No panel space to easily add one, and no budget for it for at least a year while we settle into the house. Just the standard wall outlet on the garage wall that was probably put there for a shop vac. I drive 30 miles a day, that's it. No road trips planned. The math seems to say I can survive on the wall outlet -- 4 miles per hour x 10 hours overnight = 40 miles, so I'm ahead every day. Realistically, is that actually how it plays out? Or am I going to be that guy who ends up at a public charger every other weekend because the math doesn't survive contact with real life?

I do this with the included Level 1 charger for my daily commute. 1 to 1.5 kWh an hour is about 4 miles an hour like you figured, so 30 miles a day is fine. Winter is the only thing I'd watch, my car dropped 6% just from a 15 min preheat when it was really cold.
